Principali interessi scientifici: a) Studi sui fattori abiotici limitanti lo sviluppo ed il pullulamento di insetti dannosi all’agricoltura; b) Studi sugli insetti dannosi alle derrate conservate ed alla salute umana; c) Studi sulla tassonomia, biologia, fisiologia e morfologia dei Tisanotteri; d) Studi sulle specie dannose alle piante aromatiche e medicinali; e) Studi su specie nuove per la fauna italiana; f) Ricerche sull’attività insetticida e repellente di sostanze naturali.
